Ja ja vanochtend weer uitgeslapen. Dit maal omdat er enkel een middag programma was. Rustig wakker geworden, omkleden beetje opruimen. Vervolgens ben ik een broodje gaan halen en naar de gedenkniskriche gegaan om daar nog even een rondje te lopen en een pin voor op mijn reiskussen te halen. Vanuit daar weer terug naar het hotel om mijn rugzak te pakken en door naar het stadion.
Vandaag een zeer spectaculaire verspring finale gezien bij de mannen T62/64 (onderbeen protheses). Mooie sprongen zien met een nieuwe WR van 8,48. De zandbak begint aan de kleine kant te raken voor deze springers. Tijdens het verspringen begon het alleen een beetje te regenen. Na het verspringen wat hoger gaan zitten zodat iets droger zaten. En de estafette met verschillende klasse konden zien. Dit zag er creatief uit. Er werd gestart door een deelnemer met een visuele beperking gevolgd door een atleet met een amputatie dan een atleet met overhet algemeen spasme en als laatste een wheeler.
Na deze estafette terug naar het hotel om onze spullen af te zetten en te gaan kijken waar we zouden gaan eten. Samen met noëlle, wouter en daphne hebben we vanavond bij een Vietnamees restaurant gegeten, was erg lekker. Nog gezellig een tijdje zitten kletsen in het restaurant maar redelijk optijd terug naar het hotel gegaan om in ons bedje te gaan luggen slapen.
Morgen is al weer de laatste dag van het EK. Maar het zal een zeer spectaculaire dag worden met veel Nederlanders in actie.
